The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported a total of 1,601 suspected cases of yellow fever from 463 local government areas in 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory. The cases were reported from January 1, 2022, to September 30, 2022, PUNCH disclosed. According to the NCDC’s situation report, a total of 15 deaths were recorded from suspected cases in 10 of the 36 states.
